Enact Equality collects personal data from people who send queries to ensure we can respond appropriately to their inquiries and provide relevant support. This collection is necessary to fulfil the individual’s request for information or assistance, and it aligns with the legitimate purpose of ensuring clear, tailored and helpful communication.

Your rights concerning your personal data

How long we keep your data

We will retain your personal data for as long as needed or permitted in light of the purpose(s) for which it was obtained and consistent with applicable law. The reasons we may do this are:

  • to allow adequate time for follow-up responses, track ongoing correspondence, and improve
    service;
  • to continue engaging individuals with relevant content about our campaigns; and
  • to inform our research activities.

We may keep your personal data for longer if we archive it for historical purposes or if we can’t
delete it for legal, regulatory or technical reasons.

Who we share your data with

To the extent that you: (i) report an incident to our Reporting Platform; (ii) would like legal advice or assistance with a potential discrimination claim in respect of that incident; and (iii) have provided your consent, we may share your personal data with law firms that we partner with (each a “Partner Firm”).
